Shashi Nair

Group Capt. (Retd.) Shashi Nair is a 26 year veteran of the Indian Air Force (IAF). He is an alumni of the prestigious National Defence Academy, Flying Instructor School and Defence Institute of Psychological Research. He has 18 years of flying experience including 11 years on MiG 21 aircraft. He was also a flying instructor at the Air Force Academy for three years. He has more than 4 years experience at an Air Force Selection Board where he was part of the team which selected potential officers for the Army, Navy and Air Force.

He has training and placement experience with two Business Schools, has headed recruitment in Andhra Pradesh for a national recruitment agency, specializing in head hunting senior management, and has also headed flight operations for Air Deccan at Hyderabad. He was responsible for shifting the entire Flight Operations of Air Deccan from Begumpet to Shamshabad, overnight, and commencing commercial flights without a hitch. He presently runs his own recruitment agency based at Hyderabad, India.
